Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter anime revealed a new character trailer, this time spotlighting the Ellie Walker in a new way. Studio Blanc is handling the animation, and the anime is set to premiere on July 5. The previous characters to get trailers were the main duo, Tina Howard.
Ellie Walker is voiced by Hime Sawada, and the character previously also received her special visual. You can watch her new trailer below.
The Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter anime features Yuto Uemura as Allen, Hime Sawada as Tina Howard, Kyoka Moriya as Ellie Walker, Ikumi Hasegawa as Felicia Fosse.
The series is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, with Megumi Shimizu handling the script and series composition, character designs by Akiko Toyota, and music by Kei Haneoka.
Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter light novel series is written by Riku Nanano. It was first published on the Kakuyomu website in October 2017 before getting picked by Kadokawa and published under its Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint from December 2018, with illustrations by Cura.
There is also a manga adaptation by Tamura Muto, which has been serialized in Shonen Ace Plus since September 2019. J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English.
The story follows Allen, who, after failing the court sorcerer exam, struggles to make ends meet. He accepts a suspicious job as a private tutor for a duke’s daughter. Expecting a difficult student, he instead meets a girl unable to perform even basic magic. Determined to help, Allen uses his unique methods to uncover the cause behind her struggles. As their lessons progress, a bond forms that may just change both their fates.
