Chainsaw Man anime’s opening singer Kenshi Yonezu shared that he managed to get five Kobeni Higashiyama rubber mascots in a row from one of the anime merch products. The product is available at the price of ¥385 (~$28) and went on sale in the middle of December. Each package comes with one chewing gum and one rubber mascot at random (11 possible characters).
The photo post came with the caption “They all turned out to be Kobenis!” on Kenshi Yonezu’s official Twitter page and shows a ripped plastic package of Chainsaw Man Rubber Mascot next to the five Kobeni mascots.
Heart is releasing the product and the official website describes the merchandise as rubber mascots with original art by Heart and the base colors matching the characters’ images. The 11 rubber mascots are:

Kenshi Yonezu is also known for his songs “Peace Sign,” which was the opening theme song in the second season’s first cour of My Hero Academia, and “orion” as the ending theme song in the second cour of March Comes In like a Lion‘s first season.
Last week, Chainsaw Man anime’s non-credit opening video with “KICK BACK” (Yonezu’s song) sured 50 million views on YouTube since being posted on October 12, 2022. The video was ed on MAPPA’s official channel and is currently the most-viewed video there, followed by the anime’s teaser trailer with over 16 million views.
Animation studio MAPPA is animating the Chainsaw Man anime based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to January 2021 with a total of 11 volumes. The series’ second part is being published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump +. The series sured 16 million circulating copies Google Search Awards 2022 in the Anime category.
