A Condition Called Love revealed the first teaser trailer for the anime adaptation, which is set to premiere in April 2024. The main characters are Hotaru Hinase (CV: Kana Hanazawa) and Hananoi-kun (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi). The manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in December 2017. The manga has received numerous nominations and awards; it was a nominee for the 64th Shogakukan Manga Awards in the shojo category, runner-up for the ninth An An manga award, and took home the first visual in June this year.
