After-School Hanako-kun revealed the episode 3 preview images along with a plot summary. The episode is set to broadcast on October 26, 2023, and it will be divided into two parts: “Mysterious cold” and “Mokke came to the house!”. The first part will show Hanako-kun, Tsuchigomori, and Yako catching a strange cold that affects apparitions while the second segment will introduce Teru and Kou Minamoto’s younger sibling Tiara, who picks up a Mokke and begins to take care of it. z515o
After-School Hanako-kun is a spin-off manga series of Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun. Both are written and illustrated by Aidalro. Studio Lerche oversees the spin-off’s adaptation with Masaki Kitamura as the series director; Aya Hinoue is the chief animation director and character designer; Kazuma Nagamoto is in charge of the series composition; and Hiroshi Takaki is the music composer. Every episode will be 10 minutes long and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll two days before its official release in Japan.
The original cast returned for the spin-off series: Megumi Ogata (also known for voicing Yuta Okkutsu of Jujutsu Kaisen 0) is Hanako-kun and Tsukasa, Akari Kito (the voice behind Kamado Nezuko of Demon Slayer) is Nene Yashiro, Shoya Chiba (who also voiced Ayanokoji Kiyotaka of Classroom of the Elite) is Kou Minamoto, Yuma Uchida (known for voicing Megumi Fushiguro of Jujutsu Kaisen) is Teru Minamoto, Yukana Nogami (known as the voice of C.C. in Code Geass) is Yako — the second wonder of Kamome Academy, and Kenjiro Tsuda (who also voiced Nanami Kento of Jujutsu Kaisen) is Tsuchigomori — the fifth wonder Kamome Academy. The After-School Hanako-kun also welcomes a new cast member: Misaki Kuno (the character voice of Klee of Genshin Impact, and Hawk of The Seven Deadly Sins) who voices Tiara Minamoto.
