The previously announced Akebi’s Sailor Uniform received two new trailers. In addition to new trailers, more cast and opening song information were also revealed. The anime will premiere on January 8, 2022. 4x4i3k
The video features the anime’s opening song Hajimari no Setsuna by Roubai Academy’s Junior High Year 1 Class 3. The band consists of all the students in Akebi’s class in the anime:

The additional cast of the series includes Hana Kanazawa (Yuwa AKEBI), Misaki Kuno (Kao AKEBI), and Satoshi Mikami (Sato AKEBI).
Miyuki Kuroki (Her Blue Sky) will be the one directing Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, while CloverWorks (Horimiya) will animate it.
Akebi’s Sailor Uniform is a Japanese manga series by Hiro. Shueisha started publishing it in August 2016 on Young Jump Comics. The manga is still ongoing and it currently has 9 volumes available. You can also read the synopsis below:
The stage is a prestigious rural girls’ junior high school /Japanese allspice Academy. A girl whose dream was to wear this school’s sailor suit. Later on, her wish came true, and she was thrilled to celebrate the day of the entrance ceremony. “I decided on a sailor suit”, she said that with determination in mind. Finally, the dream of junior high school life begins. Classmates, school lunches, club activities. Then, she runs through every day full of “first time” with all her might! A glittering youth diary of girls. Hence, her thoughts are: “Can I make a lot of friends?”
