Those are some of the newly announced overseas streams, and there will also be stages for Dr.STONE, The Honor Student at Magic High School (Miyuki spin-off), and a special stage from the event’s official ambassador Takanori Nishikawa. This is the first time the event will also have a special English channel. This anime event is one of the biggest in the world, and it always features many awesome programs. There will surely be news and announcements for many popular shows besides the ones mentioned above. Other franchises with stages are Attack on Titan, Mushoku Tensei, Tensura and many others. In addition, there will also be new information about new shows. We can expect something for Record of Ragnarok, The Way of the Househusband, The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt, among others. Of course, those are just a few titles, and there will surely be way more. The event will be streamed to a total of seven countries and regions outside Japan. They are: US, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

The tickets cost 3,200 yen (~$30USD) for 1 day, or 6,100 yen (~$56USD) for a two-day ticket for overseas fans. They have been on sale since March 1, and you can buy them up to the event’s date on the official site. Additionally, you can follow the official Twitter  for any updates, and there’s a separate overseas  in English too.

AnimeJapan 2021 will be huge, and many fans obviously can’t wait to hear news for Demon Slayer Season 2, as well as possible announcements for Jujutsu Kaisen, the MHA movie, and more! It will be the first event since 2019 since the event was cancelled last year. (Due to the outbreak of COVID-19.) There’s a ton of possible announcements, and we’ll also be posting the news some time after, so stay tuned.
