Arifureta season 2 premiered on January 13, 2022, and as of now, it has 6 episodes. Studios Asread (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) and Mother are currently animating the series, while Akira Iwanaga (Isuca) is directing. The first season aired in the Summer 2019 anime season, which had a total of 13 episodes. An OVA also aired in December 2019 and February 2020. You can watch the series on Funimation.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is a Japanese web novel series by Ryo Shirakome. Overlap is serializing a light novel adaptation since 2015, and it currently has 12 volumes in circulation. A manga adaptation by RoGa is also being published by the same publisher on Comic Gardo magazine. J-Novel Club is publishing it in English.
