Episode 13 of Attack on Titan: The Final Season released this Sunday, and things seem ready to blow up! The last few were a bit calmer than we may have expected, but the current situation on multiple fronts makes for a sure development in the next one. On the one side we have Eren who came back with the Yeagerists. On the other is Zeke with the potential to turn anyone who drank the wine into titans. Still, this episode was pretty great in its own way, and particularly the voice acting felt amazing. 1q605d
Niccolo’s VA Hanawa Eiji did so well! The moment he realized who Gabi was and went off on her and Falco was probably satisfying for many. Then we got some more of the inevitable Gabi development as she processed what was happening. She got shocked by the entire situation. It went from Niccolo’s feelings for an Eldian, through the lack of action from Sasha’s father, to Kaya’s attempt to murder her. She is a child raised to be a Warrior after all. It’s kind of not surprising that she can’t comprehend it immediately, especially Armin and Mikasa protecting her.
But still can’t get over Sasha’s ing, and this episode didn’t help at all. Especially when the family broke down after keeping calm for so long!
