The new Banished from the Hero’s Party trailer features the OP song by Yui Nishio. The opening is titled “Ikiwosuu Koko de suu Ikiteku”:

The anime was originally scheduled todelayed. Wolfbane and Studio Flad are animating the series. Makoto Hoshino (King’s Raid) is directing, while Megumi Shimizu (My Next Life as a Villainess) is in charge of series composition. Ruriko Watanabe (Mirai Nikki) is credited for main character designs. Yukari Hashimoto (Kakushigoto) is composing the music.
Ryouta Suzuki is the main character Red, while Kanon Takao voices Rit. Kenta Miyake, Rie Kugimiya, Sora Amamiya, and Aya Uchida are also starring in the anime.
The anime is based on a light novel written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. The light novel started serialization in 2018 in Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation is also ongoing. Yen Press licensed the light novel and describes the plot as:
