Although the anime was confirmed to end in March 30, Black Clover continues to impress with Episode 162! It’s been getting more serious recently, and after Golden Dawn met Zeno, this time Black Bulls faced the Dark Triad. Dante came to their hideout looking for Yami, but Finral just came out to get him so the current have to defend. Henry’s ed out, Gauche is gravely wounded, and we only have an exhausted Vanessa, crying Grey and berserk Asta left. 4p352d
The animation in the fight was awesome, and we got see a part of Dante’s powers, as well as his devil Lucifero. Just like with the other devils, it feels like they’re just way out Clover Kingdom’s league at the moment, so I wonder how they’ll close the gap. Although she’s yet to meet Noelle or whoever will fight her, Vanica also made an appearance in this episode.
Lastly, the thing from right before Asta went mad was interesting. It seems his mother came to him in a flashback, wounded. Since Yuno recently got his backstory, maybe we get one for the other Church baby soon too? Would also like to learn more about his devil!
Black Clover is an anime adaptation of Yuki Tabata’s manga of the same name. It started back in February 2015 and will end on March 30, 2021 after 170 episodes. There will also be an announcement at the end of that episode, so we might get something interesting there too. With episode 162 out, it means the Black Clover anime has 8 episodes left!
Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem – he can’t use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can’t use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing’s for sure – Asta will never give up!
Asta might be a bit annoying at start, but it’s worth watching through! My favorites from the recent episodes are the awesomely animated filler episode 158.
