Kaneshiro and Sannomiya’s Blue Lock – Episode Nagi manga (fwhich the film adapts) debuted in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in June 2022. The series was licensed by Kodansha USA for North America. The series was a spin-off of the Blue Lock manga by Kaneshiro and illustrator Yusuke Nomura, beginning publication in August 2018 and has since been collected into 26 volumes. Overall, the franchise has over 28mn copies in circulation and has inspired the massively popular anime adaptation. here.
