The live-action Bungo Stray Dogs the Movie: Beast consecutively released three promotional videos (PV) of action scenes featuring Sakunosuke Oda, Atsushi Nakajima, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa. The short sneak-peeks showcased each of the characters’ respective supernatural abilities, as well as the movie’s CGI. The first Bungo Stray Dogs the Movie: Beast character PV features the detective Ryunosuke Akutagawa (Shohei Hashimoto) and his supernatural ability, Rashomon, Watch his action scenes below:

The second promotional video presents mafia Atsushi Nakajima (Yuki Torigoe) and his Beast Beneath the Moonlight ability. Watch the tiger in action:

Lastly, the third and final promotional video highlights writer Sakunosuke Oda’s (Masashi Taniguchi) gun skills and his Flawless ability:

Other than the character action videos, the official Bungo Stray Dogs the Movie: Beast Twitter also releases a daily countdown of the movie. Each countdown PV features a cast member and their character. More information is available to read on their website.

While the main character Dazai Osamu does not appear in any of the PVs, fans can also look forward to the release of a bonus light novel during the first and second premiere week. See the announcement below:

Bungo Stray Dogs the Movie: Beast is adapted from a novel of the same name by Kafka Asagiri. The “what-if” story imagines Atsushi Nakajima as a Port Mafia member and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa as an Armed Detective Agency member. The reverse story follows Akutagawa who vows revenge to rescue his sister. However, just as he is about to starve to death, a man from the Armed Detective Agency appears.
