Kafka Asagiri has been writing the Bungo Stray Dogs manga with art by Sango Harukawa in KADOKAWA’s monthly Young Ace magazine since December 2012. The spin-off series Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! by Neco Kanai is ongoing on the company’s manga website Young Ace Up. Studio BONES is animating the Bungo Stray Dogs anime series: the first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to June 2019. The fourth season is scheduled to begin broadcasting on January 4, 2023. A film adaptation titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple premiered in March 2018 in Japan. Co-animated by studio NOMAD, Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! anime aired from January to March 2021.
Yen Press licensed the series for English releases including the spin-off, and the 22nd volume of Bungo Stray Dogs is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2023, while the 4th volume’s release of Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! is set for February 21, 2023.
