The official Twitter of Chainsaw Man announced that the series’ own emojis with Pochita are now available on the platform to commemorate the anime’s broadcast. The emojis called hashflags appear at the end of certain hashtags. The first episode will broadcast today, on October 11. 213w2h
“Chainsaw Devil” Pochita looks like a four-legged animal combined with the machine like the iconic chainsaw bar with chains on the head, who lives with the series’ protagonist Denji, a Devil Hunter.
Depending on the Twitter hashtags, there are two types of the hashflags for the character, one looking to the upper right, and the other facing to the left with a smile. It seems with Japanese texts show the first one, and with Latin characters comes the latter. The hashtags are as follows:
Tatsuki Fujimoto serialized the Chainsaw Man manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to January 2021 with a total of 11 volumes. He is currently drawing the series’ second part, which is being published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump +. The serialization started on July 13, 2022 and the series sured 16 million circulating copies most anticipated Anime of Fall 2022.
Viz Media licensed the Chainsaw Man manga series for English releases and describes the plot of Volume 1 as:
