Chainsaw Man anime’s pop-up shop in Shibuya, Tokyo is exhibiting a life-sized Power figure. The pop-up shop launched on December 9 and will be held until February 15, 2023. The anime is airing every Tuesday and Studio MAPPA is animating the adaptation.
The shop is titled “Chainsaw Man Big Goodwill Exhibition”. Limited merchandises such as can badges, acrylic stands, and more are on sale with new illustrations of four characters, Denji, Aki Hayakawa, Power, and Makima. Posters are also used for two giveaways; per ¥2,000 (≒$14.7) including tax, those who purchase goods may currently receive one “Chainsaw Man Big Goodwill Exhibition KV Card” with a limitation of 5 sheets at most, and “Chainsaw Man Big Goodwill Exhibition Original Art Card” will be added starting from January 2, 2023. Both bonuses will be offered until stock runs out.

The official Twitter of baseyard tokyo posted photos of character standees, which feature the new illustrations, and life-sized Makima was featured at the Chainsaw Man and Ground Y collaboration event.
Animation studio MAPPA is animating the Chainsaw Man anime based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to January 2021 with a total of 11 volumes. The series’ second part is being published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump +. The series sured 16 million circulating copies most anticipated Anime of Fall 2022 by fans.
