The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime is set to be released on Netflix exclusively on September 13. Hiroyuki Imaishi is directing the series, with Masahiko Otsuka assisting. Yoh Yoshinari and Yuto Kaneko will be responsible for the character designs, Akira Yamaoka on the music, while Masahiko Otsuka and Yoshiki Usa are responsible for the script. CD Projekt Red is producing the anime.
The opening theme for the anime is “This Ffire”, performed by the Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand.
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime expands upon the world of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Rafał Jaki (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher: Ronin) is the showrunner and executive producer, with Satoru Homma, Bartosz Sztybor, and Saya Elder as producers.
