DanMachi Season 5 Delays Episode 12 Onwards Indefinitely Due to Production Issues

The anime previously delayed Episode 9, also due to production issues. Regarding the new delay, the official statement apologizes fans for another delay, thanking fans for the and saying that the team remains dedicated to delivering the highest quality possible.

Hideki Tachibana is directing DanMachi Season 5, while the rest of the main anime staff includes Shigeki Kimoto as the character designer, Fujino Omori and Hideki Shirane in charge of the series composition, and Keiji Inai as the music composer. The main voice cast are all reprising their roles and include:

Fujino Omori writes the DanMachi light novel, which features illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda. The novel will enter its final arc with the volume (Volume 21). Yen Press licensed it in English, while HIDIVE streams the anime adaptation. They describe the story for the new season:

The latest game adaptation of the franchise, Fullland of Water and Light, is set to release on February 27, 2025.
