The preview images for Date a Live IV episode 2 have been released. The anime will resume on April 15, 2022, and we will see how hard it is for Shido to make a girl who can only love 2D characters fall for him. The title of the episode is “So Be It! 2D It is!”. 363z5l

The synopsis of episode 2 states that dating Nia Honjo, who can only love two-dimensional characters will be extremely difficult for Shido. He tries to get into Nia’s good graces but messes up along the way.

Studio GEEKTOYS (Date a Bullet) is animating the fourth season of Date a Live with Jun Nakagawa (High School Fleet) as the director. Crunchyroll has been streaming the series since April 8, 2022, and it currently has 1 episode. Keitaro Motonaga (School Days) directed the first season at studios AIC+ in 2013, season 2 at Production IMS in 2014, and season 3 at J.C. Staff in 2019.
The anime is based on Koshi Tachibana’s Date a Live light novel series. Fujimi Shobo started serializing it with Tsunako’s illustrations in 2011 and ended in 2020. The light novel had a total of 22 volumes.
