Date a Live IV preview images for episode 3 have been released. The series will resume on April 22, 2022, and Isaac Wescott’s intentions will be finally revealed as Tohka and the others are trying hard to beat Nia. The title of episode 3 is “What’s Yours Is Mine“, and you can check out the preview images below: 6xwz
The synopsis for the episode states Shido and the other spirits will be having a hard time defeating Nia’s manga sales. The preview of episode 3 that was shown after the ending sequence in episode 2 also states that Isaac Wescott and Ellen will appear in the next episode, and we will be able to witness the continuation of Shido and the DEM’s battle, as well as Isaacs true intentions.

Date a Live IV premiered on April 8, 2022, after being delayed in the Fall 2021 anime season, and it currently has 2 episodes. Jun Nakagawa (High School Fleet) is directing the series at studio GEEKTOYS (Date a Bullet). Studio AIC+animatd the first season in 2013, and it was followed by season 2 in 2014, by Production IMS. The third season was animated by J.C. Staff in 2019.
Date a Live was originally a light novel series by Koshi Tachibana with Tsunako’s illustrations. Fujimi Shobo serialized it from 2011 until 2020, and it had a total of 22 volumes. Yen Press licensed the light novel series in English and describes the plot as:
April 10. The first day of school. Shido Itsuka is rudely awoken by his personal alarm clock—his little sister. It’s shaping up to be another typical day…well, as typical as it gets on a planet plagued by massive spatial quakes. Little does Shido know, however, his life is about to take a sudden turn when he encounters the source of this destructive phenomenon—a girl his age, apparently known as a Spirit. Turns out, there are only two ways he can stop her from unleashing hell on the world: Eliminate her by force or placate her…by taking her out on a date and making her fall in love with him!
