SEGA unveiled the English-language trailer of the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board game for Nintendo Switch consoles on Monday. The game will be released on April 26, 2024. SEGA teased the game in an X post as: “Become a Demon Slayer. Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board is the second franchise title to be released on Nintendo Switch after Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, which was released in October 2021. Sweep the Board takes notable inspiration from the Mario Party line of games, with a dice-rolling mechanism that takes players into a range of fun minigames of up to four players.
Sweep the Board isn’t the only Demon Slayer title to debut in the spring. The game is ed by Season 4 of the anime series, adapting the “Hashira Training Arc” from Koyoharu Gotouge’s original Demon Slayer manga. The worldwide theatrical screenings for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training tour were revealed by Crunchyroll, kicking off with Malta on February 21.

DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA TURNS INTO A BOARD GAME
The landmarks from the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, will appear as boards! Roll the dice to advance through the squares! Each board has a daytime and nighttime period. During the day, you will play events and mini-games to prepare for the night, where you will be searching for demons to defeat – aim to become a great Demon-Slayer swordsman!
TAKE CONTROL OF ICONIC CHARACTERS
Players can choose their favorite characters including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the nine Hashira! Nezuko, who cannot be active during the day, appears as a character to help the players throughout the game!
FIGHT DEMONS BY WAVING THE JOY-CON™
In mini-games where you fight demons such as the Hand Demon, you will be able to swing the Joy-Con™* like the Nichirin Sword to attack!
