Maho Film is animating the series with Kumiko Habara (I’m Standing on a Million Lives; I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss) as the director. Deko Akao (Noragami, Komi Can’t Communicate) is writing the series composition, while Yuko Watanabe is deg the characters. Voice actress Yui Ishikawa stars as Elise while the other previously announced cast include Yohei Azakami as Linden and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Graham.
The anime is based on a novel by Yuin. It was first published in Kakao’s KakaoPage service from December 2015 to April 2016. A manhwa adaptation illustrated by Mini was serialized in KakaoPage from September 2017 to February 2018. Piccoma has licensed the novel in Japanese, while Tappytoon licensed it in English and describes the novel’s plot as:
