Eleven Arts Acquires NA Distribution Rights to 3DCG Anime Film Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis z4t6w

The Los Angeles based film distributor Eleven Arts has announced the acquisition of the North American distribution rights for the anime feature film RYOMA! THE PRINCE OF TENNIS. The movie is based on Takeshi Konomi’s shonen manga The Prince of Tennis and its sequel The New Prince of Tennis, taking place between the two. The author supervised the production and wrote the music and lyrics for all the songs featured in the film. It’s the first ever 3DCG film for the franchise, and Hiroshi Koujina will serve as director. You can see the key visual: 4x44q

There are two versions of the film, with each one featuring different characters and scenes leading the story to unfold on two parallel routes. The film’s post credit scene, which is also different depending on the version of the film, is called THEATER TENIFES petit! and features an exclusive compilation footage featuring some of the most popular Prince of Tennis character songs along with images and illustrations from the manga. Eleven Arts will announce the details on release dates and ticket sales for the anime film RYOMA! The Prince of Tennis at a later date.
