Fairy Tail Author Hiro Mashima Draws Sting on a Cross for the Fans w32a

Hiro Mashima, known for his manga Fairy Tail, posted an illustration of Sting Eucliffe tied to a cross on Twitter after a video report on his fan-meeting event held in October was released on his YouTube channel. In the video, two hard-core fans of the character appeared, and one of them revealed that Sting’s crucifixion scene had an impact on her fetish to the point where her dislike towards the character turned into her favorite. 262742

His visual post came with a simple caption without mentioning the character’s name: “Doodle.”

The creator also shared a photo of a fan’s bag full of the character’s badges on the front, captioned as “Thank you! Sting fan!” In the video, Hiro Mashima asks the fan for permission to post it on Twitter.

Takahiro Sakurai, known for his roles as Giyu Tomioka in the Demon Slayer series, Arataka Reigen in Mob Psycho 100, Rohan Kishibe in the Jojo series, and more, voiced the Sting Eucliffe in the Fairy Tail anime series.

Hiro Mashima ed the YouTube platform in June 2022 as the year marked 25th anniversary since he made his debut in a magazine. He has been active in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine for over 20 years, and the Fairy Tail series had a decade-long run: from 2006 to 2017 with a total of 63 volumes. The manga inspired anime adaptations, three TV anime seasons with a total of 328 episodes, and two film adaptations in 2012 and 2015v TV animes’ first season aired from 2009 to 2013 (175 episodes), second season from 2014 to 2016 (102 episodes), and the third season from 2018 to 2019 (51 episodes). Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, a sequel to the Fairy Tail series, is currently being serialized with Mashina’s story and Atsuo Ueda’s art in Kodansha’s online magazine Magazine Pocket. Volume 13 was released in November 2022. The work is getting a TV anime project as announced last September.
