Despite their limited roles, characters like Mimic and Aura continued to fare well, with Aura’s voice actress Ayana Taketatsu voicing her surprise at the ranking. The popularity of the Frieren manga has skyrocketed since the anime’s debut. Directed by Keiichiro Saito, with screenplay by Tomohiro Saito, music by Evan Call, and animation by Madhouse, its success resulted in the Frieren continuation, with “The Journey to Ende Continues.”
