Fruits Basket -prelude- Releases Kyoko and Katsuya Character Art, Theme Song Decided 3ij2c

The official website for the Fruits Basket -prelude- prequel movie has released the character designs for Tohru’s parents Kyoko and Katsuya, as well as revealed that the theme song has been decided. Ohashi Trio will be in charge of the theme song, and its title will be “Rainbow and Kite”. Check out the new character visuals for the main characters: 95nj

The Japanese voice cast from the Fruits Basket series will be back to reprise their roles. That means Miyuki Sawashiro (Sinon, Kurapika, Celty) will voice Kyoko. On the other hand, Yoshimasa Hosoya (Reiner, Doppo, Tokoyami) will be back as Katsuya.

Funimation previously prequel episode will get a theatrical release, which will also include an epilogue episode focusing on Tohru and Kyo after the series. In addition, there will be a digest of the anime between the Kyoko x Katsuya part and that, and the movie will release in theaters in Japan on February 18, 2022.

The anime’s final TV season ranked as the Best Girl, only behind Vladilena Milize from 86 -Eighty Six-.

The Fruits Basket -prelude- movie is now about 2 and a half months away, and we’ll be seeing Kyo & Tohru again, as well as her parents Kyoko and Katsuya Honda soon!
