Last week’s episode of Fruits Basket: The Final was all about Akito’s development as a character, with Tohru being the catalyst. The Fruits Basket official Japanese Twitter posted the preview images for Fruits Basket: The Final episode 10 on June 4th. It looks like we’ll be getting some focus on characters that haven’t been in the spotlight these past few episodes. 4f1n49

An image of Tohru blushing suggests maybe we’ll get some adorable Kyohru moments this episode. The two are far and away the fan-favorite couple, and they’ve been getting a lot of scenes this season. Additionally, it looks like the episode will at least partially focus on Yuki, who hasn’t had much involvement in recent episodes. With only 4 more episodes this season, it would be nice to see some developments between him and Machi.
Tohru’s loveable besties Hanajima and Uotani are also going to be getting some screen-time. Perhaps Uotani will discover Kureno’s condition and visit him in hospital. Now that things have been somewhat resolved between Akito and Kureno, maybe he and Uotani can finally pursue a relationship. Based on other images shared on the ORICON NEWS website, Haru, Kisa, and Hiro will also be getting some screen-time.
Fruits Basket: The Final episode 10 will be available to watch on Crunchyroll and Funimation on June 7, 2021. The next episode is titled “I just…love her”.
