December 22 marks the birthday of Fushiguro Megumi from JUJUTSU KAISEN, and studio MAPPA has posted a special 2021 celebratory illustration for the character. Check out the illustration, which also features Itadori Yuuji and Kugisaki Nobara congratulating and giving him presents: 6m4z6v

Meanwhile, the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie will release in Japan in just 2 days (December 24). It is a prequel focusing on Yuta and Rika. It covers Volume 0 of the manga, which VIZ describes as:

Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem. His childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat Curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, and it has 17 volumes as of October 4, 2021. While we wait for the movie’s international release date, you can read the manga on MANGA Plus or VIZ.
