The official Twitter for The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt (Hey, How About Treason) TV anime has unveiled the 2nd trailer for the show, featuring the opening theme “LEVEL” by Nagi Yanagi x SIXTH LIE. The anime was announced back at GA Fes 2021, and it follows Prince Wein as he tries to lead a country. Yen Press licensed the original light novel in English, and they describe the story:
Prince Wein is ready to commit treason. And who can blame him? Faced with the impossible task of ruling his pathetic little kingdom, this poor guy just can’t catch a break! But with his brilliant idea of auctioning off his country, this lazy prince should be able to retire once and for all. Or that was the plan…until his treasonous schemes lead to disastrous consequences-namely, accidental victories and the favor of his people!
Saito Soma voices the male protagonist ‘genius prince’ Wein, while Takahashi Rie voices the female lead Ralei Ninym, and you can hear both in the trailer. The additional cast and staff information is also available.
