Two days away from the official release date of version 1.2, Genshin Impact’s biggest update since release had all gamers and fans hyped up! Three months since its initial release date, the game is already entering its second major update and Genshin Impact will be celebrating Christmas with you as the version 1.2 is just around the corner. Considered as an major update, the game will be introducing a new region and a lot of new characters and weapons as well as different in-game events! 476x3h
Listed below are the major contents of the update.
In the version 1.2 of the game, Genshin Impact introduced a whole new region for all of its fans. With high-peaked mountains and ruins covered in snow, come and see the beauty of the region, Dragonspine! Located at the south of Mondstadt, the whole new freezing region will surely test your skills for a whole new swarm of enemies are waiting for you. Additionally, Dragonspine has three main attractions for you to venture, the Starglow Cavern, the Entombed City, and the Wyrmrest Valley.
In the version 1.2 of the game, a whole new set of characters were also introduced. Albedo, the genius alchemist of Mondstadt will soon set foot in Teyvat and fight by your side. Another great thing is that Albedo will be voiced by no other than Kenji Nojima. Kenji Nojima was also known as the voice actor of Taihei Doma from the Himouto! Umaru-chan series and Nobuchika Ginoza from Psycho-. Ganyu was also introduced but further announcements are to be expected.
Genshin Impact previously brought us the “Unreconciled Stars” event featuring one of the in-game characters, Fischl. In version 1.2 of the game, a whole new event is waiting for us to discover and one could name it “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” in which Albedo and Sucrose will be the main stars.
If not for Sucrose, no-one would have known that Albedo is hiding a great secret — one that involves a mysterious unknown sword and a mountain entombed in ice for millennia… Onwards and upwards, Traveler! In spite of the bitter cold…
A whole new set of weapons and artifacts were also introduced in the version 1.2 of the game. The Summit Shaper, the Festering Desire, and the Frostbearer are just a few among the new weapons for you to forge. And not just weapons, for 2 new sets of artifacts were also introduced for you to hunt and make use of its full power.
