Genshin Impact’s youngest Archon, the adorable Nahida, received a special character teaser dedicated to her birthday which is today – October 27. Her release as a playable character is slated for the next update, which is dropping on November 2. 5i2l19
In addition to the trailer, an official announcement for Japanese and English voice actors for Nahida has been made. As we knew, Kimberley Anne Campbell is voicing her in English, while Yukari Tamura is doing the Japanese version.
Nahida is the fourth Archon to be introduced in Genshin Impact, following Venti, Zhongli and Raiden Shogun. She is the Dendro Archon, known as Lesser Lord Kusanali among her people. She succeeded Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, who disappeared in the cataclysm that occurred 500 years ago. Lesser Lord and Greater Lord share a lot of characteristics but the connection between the two hasn’t been explained in full yet.
The new Genshin Impact update will continue the story in Sumeru, the nation that has fallen under the control of Akademiya. As we learned in the newest Archon Quest, Fatui, led by Dottore, are also plotting behind the scenes and trying to create a new god by using Scaramouche as a vessel. Scaramouche is currently in the possession of the Electro Gnosis, that he got from Yae Miko.
The new update will also feature three re-run banners: Yoimiya (who will be running concurrently with Nahida), Yae Miko, and Childe. A new four-star character is ing in the second half. Her name is Layla.
