The anime will adapt Yu Saito’s Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) manga, initially released as a webcomic on Twitter/X in 2018 and also serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine from 2019 to 2021. The plot follows Eiji and Rin, two teenagers who are classmates Eiji is obsessed with harems, like the ones he sees in the manga he reads. Rin secretly likes him and to get his attention she takes on a different personality every time she is around him. Will she ever be able to it her feelings and be who she truly is around Eiji? Will he grow out of his obsession?
