Haikyu!! Movie: The Dumpster Battle has now been seen by 6.1 million people or 5% of Japan’s approximately 123 million population. Haikyu!! movie distributor Toho released a post on X (formerly Twitter), celebrating the film’s numbers since its release: over 6.1 million people saw the movie and the box office revenue topped 8.7 billion yen.
The new commemorative visual s the announcement that Haikyu!! character Tetsuro Kuroo was appointed as the Japan Volleyball Association’s (JVA) special chief of PR, with the character surprisingly not the first from the series to be appointed to such a role.
The movie is slowly coming overseas, while latest “Thank You” trailer which features the main theme “Orange” by SPYAIR. Readers can look forward to reading Anime Corner’s interview with the iconic band soon. An earlier “Thank You” trailer from March 5 is below:
