REMOW has revealed a new trailer and key visual for the Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime adaptation, introducing the opening and ending theme songs. A dedicated at Anime Expo 2025 was also announced, along with the launch of a new manga series. The anime previously confirmed two split cours, with Cour 1 premiering in July 2025 and Cour 2 set for January 2026.
STUDIO KAI is animating, with its July premiere confirmed to be a 1-hour special (back-to-back episodes).
New Trailer and Key Visual
The new trailer features the opening theme song “P0WER-AkuryoTaisan-” by -SKS- ZIGZAG, as well as the ending theme song “Sunflower” by Chilli Beans. You can watch the video below.

Anime Expo 2025 Industry
REMOW will host its first industry at Anime Expo on Saturday, July 5, from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM in Room 403AB. Titled Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube U.S. Premiere presented by REMOW, the will include the U.S. premiere screening of the new anime.
It will also highlight REMOW’s broader Summer 2025 lineup and include exclusive giveaways for attendees.
New Manga Serialization: Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS
In parallel with the anime launch, a new manga series titled Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS will begin serialization on MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA starting June 11. The series will explore previously untold episodes from the original story, focusing on Class 5-3 of Domori Elementary School, featuring characters such as Hiroshi Tateno and Kyoko Inaba.
The release schedule includes:
- June 11: Episodes 1–3
- June 18: Episodes 4–6
- June 25: Episode 7
Available globally via MANGA Plus, the series will be accessible worldwide (excluding Japan, China, and South Korea).

Background
The original Jigoku Sensei Nube manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999, written by Shou Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. It sold over 29 million copies and inspired multiple adaptations, including:
- A 49-episode TV anime (1996, Toei Animation)
- A 10-episode live-action drama (2014)
- Several anime films
The franchise also includes sequels:
- Jigoku Sensei Nube Neo (2014–2018, Grand Jump, Shonen Saikyo)
- Jigoku Sensei Nube S (2018–2021, Shonen Saikyo)
