Hell's Paradise English Dub Premieres on April 15, Cast Announced 36466g

Crunchyroll has announced that the English dub of Hell’s Paradise (Jigokuraku) will premiere exclusively on the platform on April 15. It will release weekly starting this Saturday at 1:30 PM PDT. You can watch the English-dubbed trailer below: 1u4rt

With ADR direction by Mike McFarland (Chainsaw Man; Attack on Titan; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), the Hell’s Paradise English dub voice actors include: 

• Alejandro Saab as Gabimaru
• Marisa Duran as Yamada Asaemon Sagiri
• Nazeeh Tarsha as Aza Chobe
• Matt Shipman as Yamada Asaemon Toma
• Jill Harris as Yuzuriha
• Reagan Murdock as Yamada Asaemon Shion
• Ben Balmaceda as Yamada Asaemon Tenza
• Cassie Ewulu as Nurugai
• Jordan Dash Cruz as Yamada Asaemon Senta

More cast for the English dub will be announced at a later date. Hell’s Paradise will also be dubbed in German, French, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, and Italian, with dates and cast for those to be revealed soon.

The anime is based on the Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga by Yuji Kaku, which was serialized from 2018 to 2021 in the Shonen Jump Plus online magazine. Viz Media licensed the manga in English. Studio MAPPA is animating the adaptation, with Kaori Makita as the director. Crunchyroll is streaming it, and they describe the story:

Gabimaru reigns as the strongest and most ruthless assassin in his village. But now finds himself on death row—with only one way out: retrieve the Elixir of Life from a sinister island. Longing for freedom, he accepts the challenge. But with fellow convicts vying for the same prize and demonic beasts lurking, how will Gabimaru and his handler, the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, survive this harrowing quest?
