Hololive Summer Seishun Archive Gets Animated Music Video by Studio Kai 55so

“Seishun Archive,” the main theme song for the “Hololive Summer 2023” event, recently got an animated music video done by Studio Kai. The theme song was composed and produced by musical group HoneyWorks. VTuber talents Tokino Sora, Hoshimachi Suisei, Shirakami Fubuki, Minato Aqua, Amane Kanata, Moona Hoshinova, Airani Iofiteen, Takanashi Kiara, and Gawr Gura provided vocals for the song, and you can watch the video below: 1e4m3

Itami Hayato and Usui Masataka served as the music video directors, with Masataka also serving as the content producer. Meanwhile, Usui Masataka handled the screenplay, with supervision from Yuujin A (also known as A-chan by fans). The rest of the staff for the music video include:

This was not the first time Hololive delved into animated music videos and trailers. In June 2022, the VTuber agency released an animated trailer to promote its project Hololive Alternative and the sandbox game Holoearth. Takahiro Okawa directed the trailer, and Yukei Yamada served as the chief animation director.

Hololive Summer 2023 is this year’s annual installment of its summer-themed event Hololive Summer. For this year, aside from various event appearances and regular content, it will also host an online live event titled Hololive Summer 2023 Live Splash Party! A trailer for the event was also released, supervised by Kanauru.

The Hololive Summer 2023 event came just days before the agency’s Hololive English 1st Concert -Connect the World- which was held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California on July 2. The concert was first announced on March 18 this year and was the first stand-alone event of this kind for the English branch of the company.
