The new version of the petite character anime series “Isekai Quartet”, which brings together popular isekai works, is available in…. a theater!
Minoru Asahina is returning to direct the new movie. In addition, Minoru Takehara is once again in charge of character designs and animation direction. What’s more, studio PuYUKAI is responsible for the production. The staff from the past 2 TV anime seasons is back to animate the movie!
In case you don’t know what “Isekai Quartet” is about, it’s a chibi series that brings characters from various popular isekai series together. We have characters from shows such as “Youjo Senki”, “Re:Zero”, “Konosuba”, “Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari”, and “Overlord”. The characters attend one school together and we get to see a lot of comedic situations and funny interactions between protagonists from different worlds. It’s worth noting that a sequel was announced immediately after season 2 finale. Many thought it would be a season 3, but it might also have referred to this movie.
