Japan Cartoonists Association Award Goes to Demon Slayer Manga a154l

On July 26, 2021, the 50th Japan Cartoonists Association Awards took place, and Koyoharu Gotouge’s “Demon Slayer” manga won the grand prize in the Comic division. What’s more, Joruju Prioshiki’s self-published “NEW NORMAL!” received the grand prize in the Cartoon division. The Grand prize consists of a gold plaque, a medal, and 500,000 yen (~US$4,500).
