Jujutsu Kaisen is continuing the rebroadcast of the first season in Japan and a visual for The Origin of Blind Obedience arc has now been revealed. In addition to the visual, it has been revealed that the new information about the second season will be revealed in a special program on September 18, after the final episode of the rebroadcast at 17:00h JST. s564k
Jujutsu Kaisen is based on a manga by Gege Akutami that is currently being serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga launched on March 5, 2018, and 20 volumes are currently out. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English. The manga exceeded 70 million copies in circulation earlier this month.
The Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation by studio MAPPA premiered in 2020. The same studio also animated the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel movie, which is based on a one-shot manga of the same name. The second season of the anime was announced for 2023.

Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is itted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
