Almost a year since Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 news first got announced, the official Twitter for the franchise posted a mysterious tweet featuring 7 hearts. It came at exactly midnight between Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21 (JST), and we can only guess what it means at the moment. Many fans assume it’s a countdown, with 7 being the number of days until we get some details about the sequel. A new visual/trailer or just the release date, anything would be welcome for the fans of the romcom. The season 3 announcement came on October 25, 2020, along with a 3-episode OVA for Kaguya-sama. The OVA episodes came out on May 19 this year.
So far, the series received 2 anime seasons by A-1 Pictures, which were incredibly well received. Season 2 was even voted as the live-action films. Funimation streams both seasons, while VIZ licensed the manga in English. They describe the story:
