Kaiju No. 8 Teams Up With Tachikawa City for Collaboration Event 5f4173

Kaiju No. 8 anime and Tachikawa (a city in the western portion of Tokyo Prefecture) are ing forces and organizing a collaboration even slated to begin on April 26. Tachikawa Tourism and Convention Association is sponsoring the event, which revealed a key visual featuring Defense Force on a holiday: 3h2x5s

The event will feature life-size figures and character s that will appear all over Tachikawa, as well as a pop-up shop and a stamp rally. The Tachikawa event begins only 13 days after the Kaiju No. 8 anime premiere, which will happen on April 13. Production I.G is animating with Tomomi Kamiya and Shigeyuki Miya as directors. Ichiro Okuchi is in charge of the series composition. Tetsuya Nishio is the character designer, while Mahiro Maeda and Khara Studio are g off on creature designs.

Yesterday, the anime revealed a new trailer featuring theme songs: “Abyss” by YUNGBLUD and Imagine Dragons as the opening and “Nobody” by One Republic as the ending. You can check it out below:
