Apart from this debut, Kanaria also recently released a new track titled “NeverFiction,” with vocals by Hololive talent Hoshimachi Suisei. Kanaria’s VTuber model is designed by LAM, a popular illustrator who has designed multiple VTuber models including Nijisanji’s Kuzuha and Vox Akuma, Hololive’s Kureiji Ollie, and independent VTuber Kujo Ringo.

Kanaria rose to popularity with their track “King,” which was released in August 2020 and is one of the most popular tracks VTubers cover. They have also released two albums King (2020) and Kanaria.code (2022). In November 2022, they released “Dainoteki-na Rendezvous,” which was used as the ending theme for Chainsaw Man‘s sixth episode “Denji Kills.” Kanaria also wrote the “Champion” track, the last song for Pokémon and Hatsune Miku’s Project Voltage collaboration.

Multiple Japanese personalities have made their venture into debuting their own VTuber models. Japanese mangaka Shu Uchida revealed her own VTuber model in February 2023.
