The previously announced anime about the Kizuna Ai VTuber has released a teaser visual. The anime, titled Kizuna no Allele, is part of the Kizuna Ai Anime project and will be released in 2023. The visual was drawn by En Morikura, who most recently worked on Prima Doll as a character designer. No other information about the staff and cast has been announced as of this writing. 3y2v6m
The Kizuna Ai anime was first announced in February this year following her live concert “indefinite break from online activities. During Kizuna AI’s indefinite hiatus, her goal is to further develop herself. Her management laid out the policy regarding her indefinite hiatus in a separate statement back then. The management also mentioned that they will continue projects already in place to realize her wish to connect to everyone in the world.
Kizuna Ai is regarded as the one who pioneered the term ‘virtual YouTuber’ or ‘VTuber’. She started her online activities in December 2016. She has over 3 million subscribers on her main YouTube channel and over 1.5 million subscribers on her second channel “A.I.Games”, where she focuses on gaming-related content.
She is also known for songs such as “AIAIAI” composed by Yasutaka Nakata and “Again” composed by Taku Inoue. In addition, she has collaborated with brands such as fashion brand Valentino and mobile game Azur Lane. She also voiced characters in several anime, including Magical Girl Site.
