The Megumin spin-off TV anime titled KonoSuba: An Explosion On This Wonderful World has released the creditless version of its opening following its premiere on April 5. The original KonoSuba creator Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima also created the KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! light novel series. Kadokawa Shoten serialized it from 2014 to 2015, and it has a total of 3 volumes in circulation. Yen Press licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
