The season is teased, “The adventure days of Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness are back again! About 2 months left until the broadcast starts! Please look forward to it #Konosuba🌈” and follows the main trailer released back in December. Studio Drive will be continuing the series after 2023’s KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! This follows Studio DEEN animating the first two seasons. Despite the studio change, the staff largely remains the same, with Takaomi Kanasaki moving to chief director, while Yujiro Abe is now credited as director.
Crunchyroll streams the Konosuba series, whose Portuguese voice actor for Kazuma, Erick Bougleux, and French voice actor for Aqua, Lilly Caruso, were nominated for their respective international categories for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The series is officially described:
After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
