Lycoris Recoil is getting another manga, this time an official spin-off. The A-1 Pictures’ original anime officially ended today after 13 episodes and nearly three months of broadcasting. However, fans have a lot to look forward to as the first volume of the manga adaptation and an anthology are coming later this year – in December. 111s45
In addition to the previously announced spin-off light novel by Asaura with Imigimuru’s illustrations, the spin-off manga will follow the daily lives of Takina and Chisato. Kanari Abe, the mangaka behind High School Fleet, is in charge of the art. ComicWalker and Nico Nico Manga will be serializing the official Lycoris Recoil spin-off manga. Lycoris Recoil began airing this July and it quickly won over the hearts of seasonal anime watchers, ranking quite highly in Anime Corner’s weekly polls. The main cast includes:
The story is an original work by Spider Lily (consisting of Kadokawa Corporation, Dentsu Entertainment, and Aniplex) and Asaura, who is credited for the original story.
