Lycoris Recoil proved, yet again, that it is one of the best anime series of the entire year after last week’s episode. Despite the bizarreness, episode 8 proved to be yet another incredible episode leaving us off with the biggest cliffhanger of the series so far. Now, with Chisato in trouble and Takina on the move to save her, we can only guess at what we think might end up happening. But with the constant theme of Chisato and the infamous spider lily flower, is this a sign that Chisato’s end is near? Or will Takina and everyone from the LycoReco cafe be able to bring her back? All we can do is wait and see.
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Sword Art Online‘s chief animation director, Shingo Adachi. The original story for Lycoris Recoil was created by Asaura, the same creator for the action-packed comedy series Ben-To. Among the cast are Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Misuki, and Kosuke Sakaki as Mika.
