Tatsuki Fujimoto. He said that he has read all of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s works, but also that their current focus is solely Chainsaw Man. It’s the first anime that MAPPA is producing 100% in-house, which means that everything from the production and marketing to merchandising is in their hands. However, if Chainsaw Man is successful, we may see more of Fujimoto’s works get animated. 154hm
Besides Chainsaw Man, the only other serialized manga from Tatsuki Fujimoto was Fire Punch. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ and ran from April 2016 to January 2018.

Orphaned siblings Agni and Luna, like the Ice Witch who cursed their world, are two of the “blessed,” humans who hold special abilities. We’re looking forward to the Chainsaw Man anime in October, and we’ll have to wait and see if MAPPA ends up animating more works from Tatsuki Fujimoto in the future!
