The previously announced anime adaptation of Mission: Yozakura Family revealed an updated version of the teaser visual. The anime was announced at JumpFesta ’23 during a stage with Katsuyuki Konishi who voiced Kyoichiro Yozakura in the voice drama adaptation. The manga is being serialized digitally on Shueisha’sanimated promotional video in May of last year.
Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) is a rom-com series, with thriller undertones and spy elements. It follows the Yozakura family, who possess superpowers that are fully awakened once they “bloom.” The manga has been serialized since 2019 in the Weekly Shonen Jump. Currently, there are 15 volumes out. Viz Media describes the plot as:
Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers.
