Mushoku Tensei Gets Special Book Cover by Shirotaka, to Release Same Day as Final Volume

The final 26th volume of Rifujin na Magonote’s Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel is releasing on November 25 along with a special book, which has revealed the cover drawn by the novel’s illustrator Shirotaka. The special book is commemorating the light novel’s completion and will feature interviews with the author and illustrator, as well as a chronology of Rudeus’ life. It costs 1430 Japanese yen ($10 USD), and you can check out the cover below:

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel has been serialized in Media Factory’s MF Bunko imprint since 2014 with Shirotaka’s illustrations. The story was originally published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. The web novel ran from November 2012 to April 2015, while the light novel is set to end on November 25.

Mushoku Tensei also has a manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa, as well as an Best Anime of the Year for 2021.

The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime will be getting a sequel –  the first trailer and 2023 premiere date.

Seven Seas is publishing the light novel in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn’t end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he’s always wanted.
