Mushoku Tensei: Quest of Memories game is in the works with no concrete release date yet. The game will be available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. It was among announcements made at Bushiroad’s New Year Grand Presentation 2023. 416xh
The game will be published by Bushiroad‘s newly established label Bushiroad Games, which is dedicated to console games. The teaser video for the label features not only the Mushoku Tensei game, but also Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast (which will feature an original story), the new Revue Starlight visual novel, MACROSS Shooting Insight, Frontwing’s Grisaia: Chronos Rebellion smartphone game announcement, and more.
The Quest of Memories is not the first Mushoku Tensei game. Mushoku Tensei: Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: I’ll Seriously Try Even If It’s Made Into a Game) was launched in March 2021 and shut down less than one and a half years later.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation series is based on a light novel that has been serialized in Media Factory’s MF Bunko imprint from 2014 to 2022 with Shirotaka’s illustrations. The story was originally published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website which hosts -generated content. The web novel ran from November 2012 to April 2015: the light novel expanded upon the story while keeping the basic outline and, seemingly the ending, the same.
Mushoku Tensei also has a manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa, which is currently ongoing.OAD episode titled “Eris the Goblin Slayer” also premiered last year.
